    We needed help for a family member that went to college.  The stresses in college are unbelievable.  Thriveworks has not been able to correctly bill our insurance for over a year and now has taken more than $2,000 out of our account without authorization.We were connected to Thriveworks through our BCBS plan!  There have not been any in office visits - so it should even be covered under telehealth but being billed $250 per visit is unacceptable.  And so it taking it out of your account.BCBS and Thriveworks - SHAME ON YOU.

    I had only this experience here  Very disappointed from the beginning until my last conversation this afternoon with Paula.  I was charged 100$ for 25 min of counsel for my 15 year old daughter.   I found Thriveworks online.   I spent hours picking a therapist who was not available on my days off or after the school day. We scheduled out for a tuesday 2/7/23 @ 8am  with Shanna O'Connor appointment   They sent text to confirm appointment as it is only a "request" until you confirm.  Also paperwork must be completed 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment. I completed that paperwork after I got off the the phone putting me over a week early on completing everything. Monday evening after 6pm I received a text from " Colby" stating my paperwork was not complete and my appointment was canceled due to failure to complete paperwork. I responded immediately saying it had been completed over a week ago and was confused.  I felt extremely Defeated. One minute later "Colby" text back saying my paperwork just went through one minute before I text back . Strange.  So my appointment was back one.   Colby had the time to tell me my appointment was terminated but didn't have time to look for what had already been sent.  Or care at all to inform the Therspist that my appointment was with.  We arrive at 8 am.  No front desk   No therapist.  And no one had a clue.  I explained my frustration to the only person in the building Ana another therapist. Who claimed she was unavailable and full I guess not excepting new patients.   So the therapist was told not to come. So time and money wasn't wasted. But my daughter and I were told to come.   This is her first experience with a therapist.   Ana said she couldn't see us. Until she had got a cancellation.  Then she said she could do our intake.   I thought the purpose of the latent being present was to meet the therapist I'm paying to care for my child.  Colby's actions have now had a huge trickle effect.   I was charge 100$ for heartache and headache.  Ana was nice but I'm sorry this was not the experience I had expected. I called thriveworks today to speak to upper management or owner.   I was called back by "Paula ". She called 2x in a row and when I answered she said this is Paula I heard you want to talk to me.   Aggressive behavior from the supervisor of a therapy group seems harsh.  I never ask to talk to her. I didn't even know her her position or name.  I just asked to be compensated I wasn't comfortable with the charge.  Paula was ready to fight.   Could barely get a word in.  She blamed me for not having paperwork. And claimed she was in the building when I was waiting with my daughter.  Why didn't she resolve the situation then. She never said anything to me in person. She kept reading ne notes from Colby that made zero sense everything was incorrect.   She said they do not do refunds.    They didn't provide the service they are selling but still charged 100% for only half of the time along with a major inconvenience The owner of Thriveworks should know how his patients are being treated as soon as they walk in the door. She claimed the owner was going to be out for 10 days so nothing can be done she repeated this multiple times.   I asked if she could give him the message and my contact once he returns.     You would think if this company Cared about the money that was coming in that they would comp a service or refund me so I continue to come I was going to schedule appointments every week but now I'm not coming back at all I also work in the customer service business and I've come so many things for people to get them to come back into the door especially if I were at fault.   The most hurtful part about this is my 15 ur old daughter didn't get anything out of this.  I shouldn't have to pay for this companies mistakes.   Time is more precious than money and if anyone understands this yoh would thing a therapist would.    Good Luck Thriveworks   Was really wanting to Meet Shanna OConnor. Not fair to her not fair to my daughter.  And also not fair to me.   I would hope that "Paula and Colby" have effected many others lives with these types of standards and protocols when they are the ones not Abiding by them   So they resort to blaming the client/patient.   Instead of making it right.    This was very damaging to my family and my daughter that morning and again now!!! The owner should know how Paula and Colby are talking to people that are reaching out to them for help !

    my wife was trying to get counseling, the link they sent would not connect, i tried over an hour to contact someone at thrive,finally reached them after an hour 20 minutes, I asked to have charges removed, because link did not work, they said sorry. When they said NO, i immediately asked to be removed from there system. Im sure they will respond with some positive message about why all this occured, however There shure is a lot of #1rating, for this company.   im still trying to get charges removed. 1 week later they still get a 1.  Take well over an hour to get thru, and the Owner on recorded message states most calls are answered within 1 min, and they dont call back. please, find someone else quick,

    Person handling the phones say they don't accept my insurance because it's out of state even though they are listed on my network providers. People can't control where their employer's insurance comes from. Super lame and frustrating trying to find help.

image We needed help for a family member that went to college.  The stresses in college are unbelievable.  Thriveworks has not been able to correctly bill our insurance for over a year and now has taken more than $2,000 out of our account without authorization.We were connected to Thriveworks through our BCBS plan!  There have not been any in office visits - so it should even be covered under telehealth but being billed $250 per visit is unacceptable.  And so it taking it out of your account.BCBS and Thriveworks - SHAME ON YOU.
