My daughters nurse is Adele and she has been absolutely amazing and so helpful! She went above and beyond and spent almost all day on the phone today to help my daughter get the leg braces and special shoes she needed, since I wasnt able to get anywhere with the prosthetic company. Adele is also super knowledgeable and patient with my daughter, which I greatly appreciate. Dr. Gates has been amazing as well! She really takes her time and always makes sure to answer any questions we have. If theres something I dont understand Dr. Gates will make sure to re-address the subject to ensure I am fully knowledgeable on everything that is going on with my daughter. I love the fact that they come out to the house, makes everything so much easier! Doris our caseworker is a sweetheart and has also been super amazing and helpful! I cant say enough good things about this company! Thank you from the bottom of my heart

I just found out the best pediatric nurse in the world is no longer with the company. Rachael Shoe. She's been by our side since my daughter was 3 months old. This year she'll be 7. The news is devastating. Dr. Gates has been our doctor since my daughter was born. We decided to move from Nathan Adelson to Carousel Pediatrics when Dr. Gates and Rachel moved companies. Rachael was the absolute best and loved her job no doubt. I knew i could always count on her and i trusted her the most. She spoke so highly of Dr. Gates and what an amazing doctor she is. And again no doubt Dr. Gates is an amazing doctor. We've been assigned to many nurses throughout our time at Carousel but they never stayed long. Rachael did. And when she became my daughter's nurse again we were absolutely exatic. She was always there when we needed her night or day. If anything went wrong the comfort of knowing she was only a text away is indescribable. She came in the middle of the night in her street clothes to see my daughter when she'd become lethargic. And again when her G tube fell out. She was more than just a nurse she was who our family trusted and depended on without a doubt. She was smart funny and had a great connection with my little girl. If we needed anything and I mean anything she would get it done. A fax, a document, any issues with supplies or something as simple as a copy of my daughter's shot records she slid beneath the door of my home when we weren't there. I never had to second guessed if things we're getting done with her I knew they were. When she said she was going to do something she got the job done. I just wanted her to know every moment of her time spent throughout the years caring for my daughter will not be forgotten. She is an amazing person with a heart of gold for children. Who didn't just show care for her patient but all of my kids. God I'm going to MISS her!!! I'm not even sure if I want to continue my daughter's care with Carousel anymore... She once told me she loved her job so much she wouldn't leave unless absolutely necessary. I don't know what happened but I'm guess her departure was absolutely necessary. She is a person of her word and I respect her decision eventhough I wish she hadn't. Thank you for everything Rachael thank you for being the person that you are and sharing your life with us. Thank you for being there when we needed you most and making hospice care a lot less scary . I know my daughter will miss you even, if she cant tell you. She will miss you a lot . We all will miss you. You were our angel in disguise.

The pediatric side was amazing. We had a great team we have dr gates who we really like. At first we didnt get along the best but just recently she came and spent a bit of time talking when my daughter was in the hospital she really tried to make lex happy and was talking to her about her baby donkey I really did appreciate that you made her happy even when we were upset. we have Eli the Chaplin he is amazing, if you asked for one negative thing about him I couldnt even find half a bad thing to say he is great. we have Ashley the social worker she is great. Our nurse was heidi. Heidi was amazing with the kids she spent so much time making the kids and parents comfortable, she knew my daughter hated needles to she went and bought freezing spray for her yea the company bought some after but heidi still went and spent her own money at first and didnt ask for anything in return. She comes here and will play with my daughter before or after blood work to make her see its not just about hurting you Im here to help and make sure your ok. She is the only nurse I truly can say Ive ever trusted with my daughter where ever you go Im going as well Heidi we love you. Over all they had an amazing team now I guess it will be ok but nothing like it was
