Not good Sorry example of medical care was only admitted today. I can say that the admitting nurse snd Rachel were friendly, professional, efficient. My nurse for the first 11 months was good I just think that she had too much going on with kids and a second job it truly was the hospice administration and the running of the office that caused the problems being in severe chronic pain I had to wait for medications 80% of the time they were late or I had to call in order to make sure I got them but the worst thing that they did was they had trouble keeping staff employed and a very high turnover so when my nurse left I had another nurse take her place she spent 15 minutes with me and I suppose in that time knowing nothing about my extremely rare diagnosis went back to the doctor and told him that I wasn't sick enough for I wasn't dying fast enough and decided they were going to take me off of hospice they had social workers that charge patients for visits and the social worker never showed up I know that I didn't see one for 3 months and they probably charged for his visits but what I want everybody to know is this I checked with Medicare regarding hospice care and what's covered in how long you can be on it because I have a terminal illness that is extremely slow progressing and so it will continue to get worse every day every month every year there is no treatment or cure for it but it's just not going to be fast and this is what I found on the Medicare site in regards to under their frequently asked questions how long can you receive hospice care I'm not putting the whole thing in there but this is what it said a terminally terminally ill patient can receive hospice care with the recertification from the doctor stating that they have 6 months or less to live however it does state that some people retain their terminal status yet survive much longer than expected and remain under hospice care for many months or even years so you see they tried to say that Medicare wasn't going to cover the cost of my hospice care but Medicare itself stated that they know that there are patients that will stay on it for years and of course it's rare but it does happen so I'm going along with the rest of the medical field in Las Vegas Henderson area which basically the only way I can put it is it sucks it's horrible and I have had not just with hospice but since I moved out here I have had the most outrageous medical treatment that I could ever imagine and if I was a nurse or a doctor I would be ashamed of myself because not only do they not know about my rare disease which is okay because many people don't know but they didn't try to learn about it they didn't ask to speak to my doctors get the phone number so they could speak to them I really feel sorry for anybody who comes under their care a true doctor and nurse would want to do what is best for the patient and considering that I am a rare case and I don't fall into their little textbooks they still had the option to keep me under Hospice Care based on Medicare statement not mine

Horrible!!! My father was under the care of Divine Hospice for less than 24 hours. It is clear that to there employees it is only a job. Stay clear go straight to Nathan Adelson. I would rate negative 0 but unable to and beware of Canyon Vista if your loved one is a hospice patient they don't check on patients . There only renting out the room. Horrific !!!

I work for this company, so you might call my opinions prejudiced – but being a chaplain on the inside I can see the workings of a fine company. I would recommend this company to my own family, and should I ever need Hospice Care I would ask my family to use DIVINE HOSPICE.
