As a staff member seeking a new environment, I can attest to this place being one of the worse run facilities Ive ever worked for ever in 18years of my career as a nurse. I witnessed bullying and bias behaviors from the management team. The DON , Shakeidra Grant aka Keke is as immature as an 8th grader focusing more on gossip and pettiness than being a leader. The place is run by woman who need validation and lots of ego stroking to feel competent and when that is not met they will cut your hours and push you out of a job. No issues are ever addressed by any manager and the nurses have to deal with all complaints on their own because management is completely lost when it comes to anything if they do decide to involve themselves . Issues include: Call lights not working, Food arriving late, cold and nasty, no air conditioning in the summer and no heat in the winter, short staff (almost everyday), no supplies (towel, diapers, wipes, etc.), resident get washed with sheets and pillowcases often. On top of that your paycheck is almost always incorrect or needing correction to hours and/ or wages. The nurse to patient ratio is 30 and cna is 10-15 on every assignment except for the first floor. 1st floor where they put all the new residents before they move them to the other floors after they have committed to stay, is the only floor that is half way decently staffed (most of the time) giving a false hope to new residents that everything will be good. If you are a good nurse with any kind of integrity and want stability its just not the job to work at.

DO NOT, DO NOT. The food portions are less than a child would get. There are 4, 4 channels on the TV. The place is filthy. This is a bare minimum type pf place. PLEASE DO NOT.

I was at the Heights a couple of months ago and the staff was just great. Jason, Summer, McKenzie, I cant remember all the CNAs they were all great. Personnel at the Therapy department were also great. Specially Michelle. I would recommend this place. I know they might have personnel that are not in the best interest for the patient but 80% of them are awesome. You do need to let them know when something is wrong. I know I did and they fixed the issue right away.
