Our dad moved into the group home this fall and we cannot say enough about the staff and residence. We receive frequent photos, updates and questions regarding ideas that allow him to function the best way possible within his current health needs. A big shout out to Pauline and her team!

European Group Home is by far one of the most amazing group homes here in town! The owners Pauline & Phil put so much of themselves into The care they provide to their residents; compassion and understanding with their families. You become a part of their family, and they will do everything they can to make sure that you feel loved, safe, valued and fullfilled. The Care staff has been there since day one so there is consistency there as well which is very important for those with dementia. Two thumbs up!!

Making end of life decisions for a loved one is a huge emotional distress. My father suffered a second stroke in October of 2022 and needed 24/7 assistance for all aspects of his wellbeing. He had spent weeks in the hospital and then acute rehabilitation. After this he was discharged. We initially brought him to a large and well known facility that unfortunately was under staffed and overcrowded. It was very disheartening to feel his safety was in jeopardy with his needs not being met so we started a new search for a smaller facility that could offer more attention. This search led us to European Home Care. Located in a quiet neighborhood of single family homes, EHC is owned and operated by Pauline and her husband Phillip. They own and operate more than one home but are fully engaged with their AMAZING staff and the Residents on a daily basis. They both are easily reachable by phone at all times of day and night for concerns great and small. But as much as I love the owners it was the staff that will forever be in my heart. Lea, Adrian, Jasmine, and Freddy were the most patient and loving caregivers in the world. They called my father dad which I know comforted him (it comforted me as well). They were patient with the idiosyncrasies of his personality. And they welcomed me as a brother to their home always offering me refreshments or food or conversation when I visited (which for me was hundreds of times as my schedule allowed me to visit almost every day). Their new staff showed the same heart and care of the above mentioned team and my love and affection goes out to them as well. But not only that; my admiration and gratitude as well. Taking care of other peoples loved ones as they transition to the afterlife is often messy; including having to manage emotional and frustrated family members critiques and worries; as well as thankless and arduous work. To the night staff whom I did not get to know and to the newer staff that I did not mention by name please know you ALL saved our hearts to a very high degree from the magnitudes of the loss of dad. I know he appreciated you and I hope you know that we did as well. Sending my love to all my Filipino brothers and sisters at European Home Care. You will be forever in my familys hearts! YOU ARE ANGELS!!!!
