Only rating them low for one, but an important, issue. First, the good: the staff are extremely friendly, the place is clean, facility is super nice, on and on. So as far as all of that goes, no complaints. The problem is, I went in a year ago for a cleaning and was kind of pushed on having a deep cleaning that I remember seemed a little pricey for what it was, so I didn't end up doing it. Around 7 months ago I was traveling and went in for a cleaning at a dentist on the east coast who didn't even mention that being a problem. Since I'm back in town, I went back into Rainsprings for a regular cleaning and was again told I needed a deep cleaning, quoted $1933 for it, of which the insurance was going to cover around $900. After Googling the average prices, I decided to just call a couple of other places in town and, sure enough, the average total cost (without insurance) is like $800, and that's not including any insurance, which will likely cover a huge chunk of that. So Rainsprings prices were over DOUBLE both those who I called locally and what Google searches will tell you are the average. In having worked around the medical field, I know for a fact that a lot of practices (of any kind) have a tendency to maximize what they can squeeze out of insurance -- leading to some unnecessary procedures, so even though I likely could use a deep cleaning (so I'm not accusing them of that by any means), I definitely got the impression that this is the kind of place that people should consider getting a second opinion on when it comes to anything $$$ or that may be invasive (surgery, etc).

Hygienist Will did a fantastic job and took good care of the cleaning procedure. Very light hands and made me feel super comfy and at ease throughout the entire process. Also allowing me to let me know some minor/major issues to prevent any future problems. Heavenly was a very cool gal too. 😊 Thank you Rainsprings Dental Group and to the rest of the staff.
