I was seen by Dr Redlinger yesterday. I made an appointment for a regular 6 month check up & cleaning. I previously saw the same Dentist for 5 years. & had regular exams & cleanings. I was required to switch for insurance reasons. There was no pain or concerns with my teeth.
Dr Redlinger was nice & came to talk to me before the exam. After many xrays & an exam he told me I had a small issue but it would be no problem.
It then took a Serious. Downturn as I went to checkout, I was told I couldn't have a Regular Cleaning, as covered by insurance. I need a Deep Cleaning, Not covered & costing almost $1000!! They tried to force me to take a loan on Care Credit. Also I could Not have a Regular Cleaning!! I was given No Choice in My Care!!
Today I found several reviews about the same issue. Forcing Unneeded & expensive treatments on a patient is no way to operate a practice based on trust!!
As recommended by my insurance company when I called to report this violation of medical ethics, I
will find a different provider & never return to Dr Redlinger. Other's need to beware! Bring your checkbook!!
