        They asked us to upload our documents to their portal. After uploading our last 3 years of tax returns, we did not hear back from them. I called after a week and they said they couldn't take on more clients. Why ask for us to upload taxes if you cant take more clients? Waste of time and effort.

        While the people here were kind to work with, the person working on our tax return had some knowledge gaps. Specifically around SEP IRA contribution limits, differences between the SE health insurance deduction and the premium tax credit, FINCEN, and more. And then little things like misspelling one of our names, figures being entered slightly incorrectly compared to uploaded documents, etc. While we did learn some new things that reduced our tax liability somewhat, overall we didn't think this was a good value and next year we'll do it on our own.

      Our apologies for your frustrations. We are accepting new clients that meet certain criteria; however, our firm policy is to request prior year information to evaluate and see if it would be a good fit. Unfortunately the information provided didn't meet the criteria for accepting new clients due to multiple reasons. Our records show we responded to you within a few business days, which is a fairly quick turnaround on our end due to the tax deadline that was approaching on March 15th. After our review and response to you we immediately deleted all information provided per our firm policy and wished you the best in your future endeavors. Again our apologies for not being able to accommodate you as a new client at this time.
