They put a rebuilt motor in my 98 Jeep. Took about a month. When I got it back it had a vacuum leak and was running extremely high revved. Broken radiator shroud, secondary fan not running, hoses not connected, one intake hose plugged with a bolt and electrical tape, wires melted from not being fastened and sitting on the exhaust, random bolts missing. Engine light was still on for multiple issues. When I took it back he said he could not fix it and that I needed to take somewhere else because he didn't have the diagnostic tools. Main issue being the vacuum leak. Have since took it elsewhere to get it running and confirmed these are issues due to terrible work installing the motor. Moral of the story. A year later and I am still sorting through expensive problems that I should not be dealing with when getting a new motor installed. Seemed like a nice guy in the beginning but BEWARE THEY WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK and will leave you with whatever mess they couldn't handle.

Just got off the phone with one of the guys there. He spent 15 minutes looking for a $5 part for me. He finished the call with "You're Very Welcome" like I was looking to spend $5000. That's how you do business.

Dropped my running 93 jeep off there for repair, they had it over 3 weeks and could not find or fix the problem of stalling when warm/hot and would restart after about 1 hour of sitting. I finally had the jeep towed back home after the told me the jeep was done, I picked it up, drove it to my work and the same problem was still there. The jeep would not start after I had it towed home--the Optima battery was so dead from the key being left on that I may need to replace the battery from the discharge. I have been slow charging it now for 2 days trying to get life back in it. They tore my seat cover, broke my fuse box cover, left items unplugged, left 3 bare wires at the fuel tank where they clipped off and discarded factory wire disconnects at my fuel tank that are necessary to disconnect the pump when dropping the fuel tank. I ordered a rebuilt computer for the jeep which repaired the vehicle except that Back Country, some how, I believe, shorted out the in tank fuel pump which was working fine as per their fuel pressure tests and comments in all of their testing. Now I have to replace the in tank fuel pump that was just over 1 year old and drop the tank where they discarded the factory wire disconnects!!! They did replace my fuel filter however and left the filter bracket loose and did charge plenty for their NON repair guessing. If you are considering using this shop for repair, you should think twice, and then again. I cannot prove that they shorted out my fuel pump and fried the mother board in the jeep computer which I was told was very rare, in my once running jeep but it sure is an odd coincidence that it ran when I drove it there, ran while it was there, had to tow it from their shop, dead battery, fried computer and shorted fuel pump and fix it myself at quite an expense.
