Oakey Assisted Living

I am Truly grateful for Oakey assisted living. My dad moved in a few months. Great experience .The new owners were really attentive and caring. My dad requires total care and Oakey is there for him around the clock. I had a question about his medication on Saturday night and they were on it within minutes . They proviide Meals ,, meds , changing , laundry, and help w hoyer. I would highly recommend this place . And the room liked and feel new!

The management and staff are magnificent and GIVE a.good D..N about residents! Ownership is totally involved and Im blessed my medical team recommended I move here. Its a difficult decision to enter assisted living and my error in judgement is I should have moved before it became necessary. Check this places out. You owe it to yourself. Im very demanding and Oakey has met those demands. Fred C.

Oakey Assisted Living and Memory Care along with Traditions Hospice took good care of my mother in the final months of her life. I will always appreciate that.

This place is trash Management takes no responsibility for why resident are moving out and is quick to blame staff for there lack off . They are big infested to the point we're they have to move resident to show rooms just to try and clean out but it never works it just goes to the next room .The first floor smells like mold because down stairs flooded to the point it was a pool and they never changed out the carpet . They have mold in the ceilings and then try to blame the caregiver for not saying anything when that's maintenance Job . They have had several deaths at night due to staff sleeping on shift . They only have 3 caregiver per shift when there's over 60 resident and it's supposed to be 1per ever 6 or resident legally. This is just a bad place over all .The food is horrible and they give resident little kid portions.

This place by it self is not that bad. Only problems is the administration and the lack of caring for the facility. The food service director Yolanda Ruiz is by far the worst. I witness her talking to her servers very unprofessional. She has made several threats to them as well. Yolanda has been having a sexual relationship with one of her employees and have been letting her get away and do whatever she wants. One point of time she was clocking her in while she was on her way to work so she can still get paid even though she was not physically there. Yolanda was taking residents wheelchairs out the facility for personal use and not returning them. She walks around with her pants sagging revealing her underwear very much unprofessional. I also have proof of everything and will be filing more complaints.
