The Michelson Organization

This is the first and last time I will ever go into a lease with companies like MICHELSON REALTY COMPANY LLC. I am 72 and have rental property of my own so I understand the owners side of leases. I have lived at Kensington West Apartment (MICHELSON REALTY COMPANY LLC.) for two years my lease is coming up for renewal. I thought I would look around and see if there was something a little better maybe bigger maybe cheaper. After doing some research and looking at a few places, my family decided buying a condo would be best. I have lived here two years I always pay my rent a month early, never have had any complaints. I asked management 90 days before the end of my lease if we could mutually come to an agreement so we could end the lease a month early. They would have 90 days to try to rent it. If they couldn't rent the apartment then I would be responsible. They would not accept that offer even after I agreed to forfeit my deposit. If I had a renter like myself in one of my houses I would make an amendment to the lease and agree.

I thought my apartment Preston Run was terrible, but the organization that runs it is almost worse. There is no customer service whatsoever at Preston Run Apartments, nor at Michaelson Realty so think really hard before leasing and spending your harder and money with this company.

I have been in my apt in Tennessee for about 7yrs now. We had good management until about one year ago. Then things went downhill very fast. If you complained about anything, you were told you were racist. Mgr would not fix anything, regardless of what it was. We have an awesome maintenance crew, very efficient knowledgeable and do excellent work. It was just mgr issues. That has changed now so hoping things will improve. My apt was updated in the spring but there are still things that need to be addressed. Paint on the floor strip missing on bathroom vanity, cabinets not finished painting. I have a bedroom window that has been broken since I moved in, still broken. Someone attempted to paint over a leak in the ceiling and got paint all over my furniture, still not taken care of. Again, management issues. Just beware and do your homework first.
