I originally went to this dentist because my bottom tooth was really hurting me. I wanted it to be taken out cause i didnt want to deal with the pain anymore. They convinced me to keep the tooth. So i ended up getting two crowns and one root canal on those teeth. I complained that there is too big of a gap and food gets stuck down there and they gave me a cheap toothbrush and told me to keep pushing down with Listerine and the gums will eventually form to it. It's been over two years now and it hasn't and my gums have deteriorated from always trying to get the food that is stuck down there and it's still painful and more than ever! It's been years and i am still living with this pain! On top of all of this, i gave this company an updated insurance card to use. They didn't run the payments through my new one but chose to use the older one i had on record. The old insurance card did go through but i had no credit left on it. So they then tried running it through the second and UPDATED insurance i gave them. The updated insurance didn't accept it because its already gone through another account that covered a tiny portion. They then tried flipping this on me and say i owe them the difference because insurance wouldn't cover it. This is an error on their end for not running the new insurance that was provided to them. They also said i prepaid in December for treatment that was done two months later, even though the estimate was also two months later. I asked for records and still don't have them. See attached photos of the state they left my mouth in after spending thousands here. Thanks for leaving my mouth in a bigger mess than before i even arrived there!

Business Response on Google Apr 7th, 2024
Hi Elvia, We're sorry you're not happy with your crown. It sounds like there may be a problem with the gums and that is usually not resolved with a crown. This problem could also be a result of the size or location of the cavity on the tooth. We do our best to resolve these issues, but we have to work within physical limitations. In regards to your insurance, it sounds like your insurance does not have duplicate coverage. Some lesser plans do not have this and it allows them to deny coverage. Unfortunately, we can't choose what insurance to bill first. There are specific rules that dictate what insurance company to bill to first. The insurance companies communicate with each other so they would have denied coverage if you billed the wrong insurance. Furthermore, it would be considered fraud if we knowingly tried to bill incorrectly. Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with!
