Wife and I were looking for an everyday carry for her. We came to see Frederick at ICB Firearms and I'm so glad we did. Frederick treated us with the upmost respect and made my wife feel comfortable. He concentrated on helping us make an educated decision by explaining the different options available and the pros/cons of them. He even ordered in a few different styles so she could see and touch them in person. Grosse Pointe is lucky to have a respectable company like ICB nearby. I must admit, I am not familiar with the gun laws and gun procurement procedures so I had assumed an FFL would act as an advisor on what one should do or should not do when trying to obtain a gun.
I must say choosing ICB Firearms was thee worst possible mistake I could have made. This gentlemen misinformed me, mislead and withheld information, 3 different times in (1) single transaction. Working with ICB Firearms was a highly contentious and the efforts to prevent a smooth transaction seemed very passive aggressive. Detroit and Saint Clair Shores has several highly qualified and knowledgeable FFL's I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere. My assumption, however, is you will have a much better experience then I had, and I hope you do.
The transaction was originally initiated the 1st week of February of 2022. After (3) months of dealing with the mess ICB Firearms guided me into, we were able to work with Stephen Miller out of Lansing to get everything cleared up in a matter of days and our new AR finally arrived home today. ICB Firearms also contacted our gun broker and defamed me personally which put a temporary hold on our account, which is why I am on here tattle tailing on them, but the good news is I was also able to get this cleared up by Stephen Miller. ICB will be the only place I get all my guns and gun needs from now on. He is knowledgeable, quick to respond, and has some of the coolest products. I recommend ICB Firearms to anyone and everyone!
