This is one of the worst roofing companies in the Kansas city Metropolitan area. When they come knocking on your door please please please do yourself a favor and slam it shut or don't open at all. Crystal Calhoun came knocking on my door after the march storms hit. She was very friendly and made many promises about how the whole process would go down. Day after I sign the contract she ghosts me and it takes a week to even get a copy of the contract sent to me and by that time I could not even cancel due to the 5 day policy and has to be filled out in person at the office far from my missouri home. Find out she is no longer with the company and that some guy named Nick who was supposed to be her boss was taking over. Bottom line, never once was there any communication other than what I had to call multiple times for just to find out anything about the status updates. At the end of the day 5 months later the roof was completed eventually. Took them a few extra trips out because they didn't seal up the roof to keep birds out properly. Had to keep following up avout the final bill with a worthless woman named Jennifer in the billing department who doesn't know how to do her job, she ran my check electronically without permission because they were to lazy to drive out to pick up the physical check. And finally they managed to get every penny of the money they were supposed to get in the contract but my portion was shorted over $1400 and all they told me was that someone must have fat fingered a number and that they would send this issue up to the owners. Very poor communication, lied to us several times about their lack of communication, no showed a meeting with us, and damaged our fascia. Please, please don't use Emerson. Emerson, I see, responded to this review. Just to be clear, Emerson is saying the company they worked with to replace the fascia may have been difficult to get in touch with, NOT the homeowner. I am not sure I believe this, as again, Emersons track record with us is very poor. Sep 21st, 2024

Emerson did a fantastic job. Our rep (Todd) was ready and available when our insurance adjuster came to the house to work with him. They handled most of the interaction with the insurance company and let me know when they were going to be onsite. They replaced my entire roof in one day and had the gutters completed the following week. A total of 4 weeks went by from the time I submitted my claim to my insurance provider and the time everything was completed. Stellar performance Emerson! Sep 19th, 2024

Emerson Enterprises Unlimited LLC offers many services such as Roofing, Siding, Gutters, Windows, Painting and more. It's important to recognize the success of your project is not as simple as how many shingles, how much labor, or the cost. Success relies on the preparation and expertise before and after. The contractor you choose should be an expert at their craft with years of experience.

We certainly apologize for any lack in communication. It's unfortunate that your rep left in the middle of your project. She had personal matters to attend to out of Kansas City. We have NEVER claimed to be perfect. In fact our business is made up of humans, really great humans but we are just that... human. We make mistakes. Should we have communicated better? Absolutely. Did we repair the issue you mentioned about the birds getting in? Yes we did. We apologize that there was an error in the math indicating what portion of the insurance funds would remain with you as trades we were not completing. The fact remains that we work off the insurance scope. If you ever needed to "fact check" you could have simply reviewed that paperwork from your carrier. To call someone worthless for simply doing her job is out of line. We appreciate each and every one of our employees and while you might find it imperative to smear someone's name online, we will be the bigger person here and simply thank you for your business and wish you well.

Unfortunately, we did fail at communication here. Our crew damaged some fascia that was custom bent so we had to work with them, and they were very hard to get ahold of. It took far longer than we ever anticipated. At the end of the day, we did get all repairs completed and the customer did indicate satisfaction with the project.
