Had co-parenting therapy with him. The first Zoom session was alone with him, and my only request was that he take the time to verify what the other party said. After one group zoom session he proudly determined that I had trust issues. He said he assumed the other party was being honest because she seemed reasonable, and he never verified anything. He then routinely chastised me for calling a lie a lie, as though his feelings on who was being honest were more accurate than actually being there. His therapy sessions quickly turned into really awkward gaslighting sessions. The other party would say something that wasnt true and Id say that it wasnt true, and then he would chime in and tell me it was true and I was out of line for saying it wasnt. At one point he even removed me from a zoom session because I said something wasnt true that I knew wasnt true. It was weird. Really weird. He eventually determined that I couldnt be worked with, which I suppose is accurate since worked with apparently means accept fiction as fact. He then submitted a two page summary to the Court, detailing how I had trust issues and a processing disorder. On the bottom of the page, after he causes irreparable harm by creating this false narrative about me, he tosses in that he was unable to ascertain the factual basis of my concerns, but my demeanor suggested a level of suspiciousness that was perhaps more emotionally than factually based. So yeah, Bart just guessed I was wrong, he never verified anything, and then he claimed my emotional response to being wrongly accused somehow confirmed his guess that I was wrong. Bart's combination of arrogance, incompetence, and confidence, is dangerous. Especially when he injects it into family law.

Arrogant. Egotistical. Sexists. Elitist. Thief. Stay away from this parasite. Unfortunately I was warned by both mental health and family law professionals about the guy and I didnt listen. Do not make the same mistake I did. Bart is the lowest you can get. Hes out for the money and milk you dry.

strange how even within the community of legal professionals, bart is well-known for being pro-father/abuser in cases where domestic violence is relevant. the fact that dr ferraro was employed by the Julian center allows him to operate under the (unfortunately false and corrupted) presumption of work that would reflect DV specific expertise. --i even randomly ran into someone in a public restroom who used to work with him there. she said the stories are disgusting.

I was very fortunate to have Dr. Ferraro assigned to my family as a Parenting Coordinator for the last year. It was clear early on that he is a truth-seeker. He took the time to speak with everyone who had been relevant to my childrens life over a long period of time: therapists, parents, and the children themselves. Once he truly understood the real situation in my family, he was able to help us in ways others who showed less patience were unable to. During our meetings, Dr. Ferraro showed great experience and balance. He made sure each side was given time to speak and was treated fairly. Sometimes, when I felt strongly that I was in the right, I was frustrated by how even-handed he was. In retrospect, his was the correct approach. Afterwards, he provided feedback on how to interact better, sometimes chastising me when appropriate. I appreciated the constructive feedback and have become a better co-parent because of it. In times of higher conflict, Dr. Ferraros focus was ALWAYS on what was best in the long term for my children. After having a lawyer as a PC in the past, I strongly recommend using a mental health professional, and I strongly recommend Dr. Ferraro in this role. Parenting conflict requires an understanding of people more than the law.
