This review is not about Dr. Osman personally, but it is about his clinic on 96th Street (Osman & Associates).I hate to write a poor review, but I was very disturbed by my experience at this clinic. The office is very run-down and dirty, but that was the least of the issues. I arrived at my appointment on time, but the provider was running 45 minutes late. Frustrating, but not the worst issue. While waiting in the lobby, I (along with everyone else who was waiting) sadly listened to the personal details of an appointment going on in the next room. The walls must be paper thin because we could clearly hear every single word. The saddest part was that the appointment must have been a pediatric psychiatric appointment.  We all heard the details of the child's traumatic childhood, her progress in school, acting out at home, what medications she took, and her mother's concerns about the child's weight. That poor child had NO confidentiality. I was so uncomfortable, I walked up to the receptionist and told her we could all hear the appointment. She acted annoyed and said "I'm aware about the noise ma'am."  I was shocked.  Allowing a child's confidentiality to be broken at a mental health office is terrible.  Is this even legal?  I will never go back to this clinic and encourage others to avoid it, as well.
