Great experience at this location. Its nice to finally get a lasting impression from this location. I would like to highlight the teller that assisted me. I believe her name is Tia which is short for her full name which I cant recall but I think starts with a C. She was very personable, professional, and full of personality. She made the visit very pleasing and I look forward to my visits in the future.

I usually go to Meijer weekly to send money with western Union but today I decided to use checksmart. They are a western Union affiliate although are very unfamiliar with the process of doing the process via the app. They required my ID which should not be required at the store because its confirmed on my western Union app on the phone, but I proceeded to give them my ID since I did not want to give them a hard time. They took a copy of my ID and then proceeded to ask for my social security number after taking my money. Ive sent with western Union hundreds of times. I was never required to provide my social security number. I then asked to just cancel my transaction and Id go complete it at another location because I was feeling uncomfortable with their service. They told me the transaction was completed and went through and that they couldnt cancel the process. So if western Union didnt require it to send the money why were they asking for it??? The lady who was assisting me was professional in the beginning but when I began to ask questions of why they were doing things differently than other places, her tone changed. She threw my ID in the tray and then proceeded to take pictures of me with her web cam device on her pc. I smiled and gave the camera a thumbs up. She didnt even tell me thank you or have a good day or anything.

Brandon was so sweet, I started off very irritated and left with a smile on my face. He didnt let my energy bring him down, he kept to his position and did what needed to be done swiftly. Ill be back if need be. Thank you!
