    This place is the worst apartment by far, from rude management to rude service every employee in this building is disrespectful. They dont know how to talk to the tenants or solve problems, we have been calling , complaining about broken things but they dont care at all. Please stay away from Idlewood apartments I dont recommend this place to anyone!!!! The pictures show how filthy the new apartment was when we got the keys to move in, we been complaining about it since we moved in but they sure taking their sweet time to get things fixed and its annoying and frustrating!! IDLEWOOD APARTMENTS ARE THE WORST AND THE MANAGEMENT DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO DO THIER JOB CORRECTLY!!! STAY AWAY FROM IDLEWOOD APARTMENTS

    I see maintenance around the apartment everyday but they barely get anything fixed in my apartment. I had to change my rating because its embarrassing at this moment. I have complained about a particular issue for about two years but my repair still hasnt been processed.

    Yeah its cheaper and not bad BUT you will never have your things fixed. You will have broken appliances and outlets that dont work. The office will tell you theres a work order but nothing ever comes from it. This is why I want to leave Marion county. Just trash apartments out here

    Idlewood Apartments are the worst! I do not recommend anyone choose this place to live, I was looking there for two years and these were the considerations in which I gave the apartment before leaving there, I cleaned everything and left it almost in perfect condition, much better than I found it, except due to the regular wear and tear of having lived there as the contract said that this was normal. Well, it turns out that they recently sent me an email that they kept my deposit and that apart from that I have to pay to change the carpet and other things that clearly I did not leave dirty when I delivered it, almost 800 dollars they want me to pay them even though I had Delivered as seen in the photos. When I was there the apartment above had a problem and the drain ended up in my bathroom flooding the entire carpet which they sent a staff to dry it and they didn't do it correctly and I had to call them two more times after that and still the humidity bothered me. It filled everything with mold and damaged almost all of my shoes and a lot of things in the apartment, I sent them photos of all that and I explained to them and they didn't pay me any of the damages. But for them to abuse the tenants and keep their deposits and charge extra money if they are very fast, but to help and respond after you are there they are very slow! I do not recommend them at all, they are the worst Idlewood Apartments

    This place is not terrible for the price, BUT there are some things potential tenants should know. First, their pool and fitness center entrances are connected. During the summer when the pool is open, BOTH the pool and fitness center are only open during business hours. If you have a normal work schedule, you will not have access to these amenities a good chunk of the year. Truthfully, we would not have moved here had we known the weird hour restrictions. They kindly left that out when discussing the amenities. When I asked management why they don't just get a camera and fine people who are doing things they shouldn't be in the pool area, they said it wouldn't stop people from vandalizing the pool area. Second, maintenance at this place is wildly incompetent. If you want something fixed, they may end up coming back multiple times to try and fix it and it won't actually stay fixed. For example, we have an outlet that doesn't work even after they originally came to fix it. When we moved in, our outdoor storage was not completed and had exposed insulation. Though they promptly addressed the storage room issue (saying it was something to do with an independent contractor), unfortunately it became moldy and water damaged inside earlier this year. Luckily, we don't store too much in there, but I could see it being a serious issue for someone wanting to move in. Third, there have been breeded mother dogs abandoned outside our third floor apartment. In less than a year that we have been here, there have been at least three or four dogs abandoned. Despite this being brought to management's attention, there has been no acceptable plan to remedy this issue. Once again, the obvious fix would be to install a camera to report back to the authorities, but nothing has been done. Lastly, package carriers will sometimes drop all the packages off at the leasing office. The leasing office will not inform you that they have them, so you have to make sure to check with them if you did not receive your package that states it has been delivered. This isn't a huge deal, but if you are unaware that this happens, then you will freak out that your package was stolen when it wasn't because no one bothered to simply give you a heads up. We are moving out of state, but we were not planning to stay here either way because of all of these reasons. We wouldn't personally recommend this place if you like having amenities and things that work. Again, not a terrible place to live for the price, but you get what you paid for.
