Overall my experience at this apartment complex was fine at best. In the short time living there, Ive had multiple issues with my apartment- including but not limited to the water having a mildew like smell, the kitchen sink not having hot water, the shower head having build up, and the built in cabinets having a mildew like smell upon move in. Additionally the secure package room is never locked and the door can just be pushed open. However, the biggest issue Ive had with this apartment was that with in one month of moving in my refrigerator broke and I had approximately $200 worth of food spoil. Despite the award winning management and $1700 I pay a month in rent, all the management did was replace the fridge and essentially say Sorry that sucks. In short, after my experiences here I can safely say that I will not be renting here again and I would advise anyone to live elsewhere.

As a traveling healthcare worker, I've lived in a lot of places in my 9 years on the road. Let's get serious. First of all, there's no pool. There are 2 communities literally across the street who do, so if that doesn't turn you away, keep reading. The building is old. No updates, no community room and the gym is a joke. There are 2 treadmills but only 1 works, 1 elliptical, some free weights and 1 weight machine. For 4 floors with 30 apartments on each floor. Does it sound like an inconvenience? IT IS. When I was shown the apartment, I was told the carpet would be replaced before I moved in. TWICE. When I got here, it had been shampooed. They had then shut the door and cranked the air conditioning in the hopes it would dry out. Have you ever smelled nasty, WET carpet? The smell in here was incredible when it was shown to me, imagine it wet and sitting for days. I couldn't even walk around my own place barefoot, it was so disgusting. My poor cats and I had no choice but to breathe in whatever got stirred up. It then took them ANOTHER 3 WEEKS to replace it. Management is ineffective and lazy. This is NOT a secure building, though they claim it is. The garage door breaks often and the last time it did it was open for over 6 weeks. Do you know what that means in downtown Indianapolis? Anyone could've walked into the garage and straight into the building. The door from inside the garage into the building doesn't have a lock on it so anyone could've been lurking in the stairwell. There are 3 washers and dryers on each floor (again, does that sound like enough for a building this size?) so when I went to wash clothes, who knew if someone was hiding in the laundry room? No one bothered to tell us why the door was open or when it would be fixed until I complained, then we got the update it would take another week or more. The recycling in the basement is a joke. There are 4 garbage cans for this building. Yep, the same size trash can that Waste Management picks up for 1 house, there are 4 for 120 units. Does that sound sufficient? It is constantly overflowing with cardboard and recycling. Think on that for a second: overflowing trash in a basement........... I've emailed complaints to the office staff that are still unresolved. When I escalated to the owner of the building, it took him 2 days to respond after multiple emails. Trust, I have the paper trail to prove it. You don't want to live here. I don't want to live here but they're making me stay another month to fulfill a 60 day notice on a 5 month lease. Yep, even a short term renter has to give 60 days notice, which is STUPID. I signed a lease with a finite end date, and now you're saying I can't leave? The lease I signed didn't even go until the end of the month! They wanted me out on Christmas day! How generous that I was given until the 26th to move out. I haven't even mentioned the noise of the neighbors, but I feel like I've listed enough issues that I don't need to elaborate further. Lemme just say, it's VERY noisy. This isn't the only JUSTUS owned property so be warned. You don't want to live here.
