Garden Arch Apartments

I loved living at Garden Arch. Van Rooy and Sarah were awesome to work with, and they always responded quickly to any issues I had. Maintenance was also quick and helpful. The location is perfect as well. My only gripe with the place is parking is an inconvenience. Since there are more people that live at the building than they have spots in the lot for, many times, you had to find street parking instead. This wasn't fun if you got back home late or had to leave early in the morning. I also suspected residents were allowing guests to park in the lot, as there were often cars there without parking tags. Overall though, I would definitely recommend people look at this hidden gem if interested in downtown Indianapolis living.

Kind of a gem of a property in terms of location, privacy, security, sound resistance, etc - plus it's Van Rooy so leasing was easy and maintenance is relatively fast. Pay your rent and make maintenance online. The one catch is that beautiful green courtyard is for dog poop only. If you don't liek dogs you won't like this. But I do. All dogs are good dogs.

Real nice apartments in a safe neighborhood that is walking distance to everything downtown. It's a very friendly and social community and environment. Maintenance will make you feel like the most important customer in the world. However, now that there's such an enormous interest in downtown living, property mgmt is practically kicking out people (including those that have lived here many years) by raising their rent to unaffordable rates. I lived there 15 years--that's how great this place is. It'll always be special. I always thought that, as long as I live in Indy, that's where I would reside. Unfortunately I lost my job, squeaked out the remainder of my lease and had to move on. I couldn't have stayed anyway, nor could I move back now even with a similar paying job, because of the price. Go for it if you can.
