I was over charged at this practice by $700 over 6 weeks ago. I have submitted digital and in person communications (stamped/verified paperwork from Chase) showing the error. I have spoken with numerous persons at the front desk who have been as helpful as they can be. However, the practice manager has not called backed or messaged or followed up when they have said they would. I would not trust to purchase products from this place.

Went to have a yearly visit the last three years, eAch time I asked to have a spot that was not healing addressed. They told me it was folliculitis, I called after year 3 to let them no my biopsy was not healing they said it was fine and that happen. Fast forward a year later I visited a new dermatologist who I explained the situation to she biopsied the spot completely and let me know it was Basel cell carcinoma. Which is slightly a bit more concerning than a inflamed hair follicle.

I was having horrible skin issues related to pregnancy and Dr Rubenstein was an amazing help. We had several telehealth appointments and she was able to help me get my skin issues under control. I also felt that she heard my concerns and didn't rush me through my appointment.

I took my daughter in for laser hair removal on her arms. We met with the Physician's Assistant for the consultation who appeared to be knowledgeable and indicated my daughter was an excellent candidate. I paid the money up front for 5 treatments. We went to the first treatment in March 2017. It went well. We returned for the second treatment which also went well. Due to her sports activities and school, we were not able to return until July 2017 (procedures were to be done every 6-8 weeks). At each visit I was not allowed to be in the room because of the laser equipment. We arrived for the third treatment and this time they had me sign yet another waiver. I did not have to sign one on the second visit. I thought that was odd. I figured the one I signed on the initial visit would have been suffice, as well as not having to sign a second one..it just seemed a bit inconsistent. At any rate, they took her to the back and placed the numbing cream prior to the treatment as they had done at each visit. By the time my daughter walked out her arms were bright red and there were elevated welts all along her arms. Ankita Patel was no where to be found. In the past she had come out to let me know how the procedure went, but she was obviously too busy to talk to me. As we were leaving my daughter indicated that she was in a lot of pain. I stopped in the pharmacy downstairs and they handed me an ice pack. All the way home on the car ride I had her turn on the A/C to blow onto her arms (it's and hour and a half drive). As soon as we arrived home, I gave her some advil, placed the cream they had prescribed before and the next we placed Aquaphor to help the burns heal. To be honest, I was in shock. It hurt for 3 days, but the Aquaphor helped soothe it. Sadly, my daughter is left with laser burn scars all along her left arm more so than her right arm. I feel they increased the laser intensity even though they denied doing so to my daughter. We have an appointment scheduled for October 2017, which of course we will not be going to. I simply wanted to post this to show people what was done to my daughter. Please be aware that they will relieve all liability on themselves by having you sign their waivers. I am still considering contacting an attorney. However, stay away from having any procedures done there. The photo posted was taken 2 weeks post laser removal procedure.
