    My ceiling has been leaking all year, nobody has addressed the roof issue. I think they're waiting for the ceiling to collapse. Also, the hallway lights don't turn on until 6pm. It's winter, it's dark in the hallways by 4, can't wait until an older tenant falls and sues this management company Note how any 1 star review reply from City Habitat Properties is essentially a "not our problem or responsibility" reply. That is a BAD LOOK for professionalism.

    Ive been renting a unit in a building managed by City Habitat since April, and have been very very pleased. City living comes with its share of difficulties; increased pest pressures, old plumbing, etc. But City Habitat has been VERY quick and responsive with any maintenance requests or issues that have come up. Ive been very happy so far, and am really looking forward to renewing my lease and settling in for a few years!

    I've waited 3 months to get a maintenance request filled and have not been able to unpack due to this. Twice the maintenance team was "scheduled" (after months of avoided calls, and finding any reason to get off the phone with me when it does go through) and never came. Refusal to give direct line to maintenance crew to coordinate entry, refusal to give a time. When dates are given they are not met. Other maintenance requests such as stove and water heater have been met fairly quickly, but this huge one has gone on for far too long. I sense they are playing the waiting game in attempt to get me to make the repair myself on my own dollar, and refuse to outright say they will not fill this request. It would be easier if I had a straightforward answer than this game of chicken. Deeply unsatisfied with maintenance due to this experience. But the leasing process was pretty easy, and I like the place and plan to renew.

Most of the time 999% of the times it is not us taking the decision, especially for such big expenses but the owner of the property or the board of the association.
