If I could give zero starts I would. If you are considering using this mortgage lender as a buyer STAY AWAY!! If you are selling your home and your buyer has this lender STAY FAR FAR AWAY.. better yet RUNNNN. The first word that come to mind when I hear guaranteed rate is JANKY. This lender is horrible!!!! We put our home on the market July 24th, by the 29th we had an offer! Our due diligence period ended on August 18th. By that time we had done all inspections, all protocols, and according to this lender our buyers were good to go! Our closing date was supposed to be August 31st. We had no communication, and no idea what was going on from the time we were told everything was good to go until August 30th!! We had to hound for information and were basically avoided. Closing did not happen on the 31st, they pushed the closing date back , and back again. Told us everything was approved by underwriting, and then after the second push back and over 40 days later denied our buyers!!! Thankfully they were able to switch lenders and were approved in less than 2 weeks! Stay away from these ppl, and after reading other reviews I can say I wish I had read the reviews first!!! Buyers and sellers beware!!!

I highly recommend Guaranteed Rate, Adam Slack and his team. They were very detailed in instructions, explained the process along the way, and were very timely with communication when I had questions. They completed all paperwork quickly and had me all wrapped up earlier than closing. They made my home buying experience extremely pleasant. High five and great job guys!

Suzanne Neblett and Lori James responded to our to our mortgage questions with knowledge, expertise and timeliness. They explained the mortgage process and related requirements thoroughly and they were pleasant to work with!
