We were visiting the city, we arrived at Lalo's around 8:30 pm for dinner as their hours state close at 10 pm. We were a party of 9, with kids under 10 years old. When we arrived, patrons can still be seen eating inside. We were met at the door, "Sorry, we've just now closed the kitchen earlier than usual. It has been a slow day, so we are closing early". Due to this, it turned into a rough night for two pair of parents with kids looking for a suitable family friendly place. Ending up in a sketchy place of town, in a city you know nothing about. Hoping this review at minimum makes you double and triple check with the restaurant before making the decision to eat here. As the times posted are subject to change.

Ive been coming here for a long time-never disappointed. Generous food portions and servers are very attentive. Cant go wrong with their margaritas. The black bean soup makes for amazing comfort food. Their hospitality at this location always stands out to me!
