Bucky Cross - Baird and Warner

Bucky is a talented realtor, and a wonderful partner to have at any step in the home buying / selling process. This was our second time working with Bucky, and our first time selling a property with him. Not only did he successfully sell our home at price that achieved our financial goals, he did so in what many are calling the worst housing market since 2008. This speaks volumes to Buckys ability to think strategically, work in partnership, and go above and beyond to help his clients. Our objective when selling our house was to sell quickly at a fair market price. We chose to list in the fall, following the peak summer housing activities, which could have posed a challenge to meeting those goals. Bucky did an incredible job of putting in effort and managing expectations along the way. Our initial listing was beautifully photographed and advertised and Bucky and his team members made themselves available for showings and open houses at every opportunity. We did reach one point in the process when our house had been sitting without an offer longer than we had anticipated (as a result of the market). We mentioned our anxiety to Bucky and he immediately hopped on a call to problem solve. We expressed our reluctance to alter the price, and Bucky presented multiple ideas to creatively double down on marketing. Because of Buckys willingness to partner and think outside the box, we had an offer within 1-2 weeks that Bucky tactfully and quickly negotiated, and we happily accepted. In short, Bucky is a rockstar and a true partner that you can rely on throughout buying/selling a home - some of the most stressful experiences out there. While we hope to be out of the home sale market for a while, we know exactly who well turn to when the next time comes.

Bucky was such a pleasure to work, especially after experiences that left us wanting something better. He was cordial, informative, prompt and communicated at a frequency that really worked for us. He listened to our (sometimes changing) needs and made great suggestions and never complained once despite us needing to see 1000 different homes. Bucky is someone you can trust implicitly to understand your wants and needs and deliver on them. We would absolutely recommend Bucky to anyone in need.

This is the second time that we have used Bucky for our real estate needs. The first time, he had helped us buy our condo in Evanston. Everything went smoothly and Bucky made the whole process so easy. Recently, we had used him a second time; this time around to sell the condo that we had previously purchased with his help. Bucky went way out of his way to assist us every step of the way. We will gladly use him again, should the need arise. Thank you, Bucky! You'd be lucky to work with Bucky! As first-time homebuyers, my wife and I had seemingly endless questions about the homebuying process and Bucky was our confidant and guide throughout the entire process. Bucky was very professional; he provided wonderful insight into our search. Although we looked at many, many homes, he was very much in tune with what we were looking for. His personality and demeanor were always so pleasant. He made our home search easy and we found our perfect home. He went beyond the scope of his job in so many ways.
