We interviewed a few realtors to help us sell our Chicago condo, and Melissa was an easy choice; especially since she knew our building so well. She helped us get the condo ready with appropriate and cost conscious updates. Her marketing was great; the pamphlets and pictures were well done and impressive. Melissa and her team deliver results. The Melissa Siegal Group was patient with us during what was a long home search. When we found "the one", Melissa was instrumental in the offer negotiation process, ultimately leading to the acceptance of our offer significantly below list price in a tight market. After our offer was accepted, Melissa and her team didn't miss a beat in getting our condo listed. Through effective staging guidance, photography, and marketing, we had multiple offers on our condo within 48 hours. When the first offer failed to close, Melissa was able to get our unit back under contract within 24 hours and closed within three weeks. Along the way, Melissa and her team were responsive and pleasant to work with, with thoughtful and personal touches.

So we are a bit remiss in leaving this review, since we closed at the end of December 2023. We'll try to be extra specific to make up for it. We are moving to Chicago, and we started looking about a year in advance. In theory, this might annoy some realtors, who want to show you around for half a day, have you pick the first property you see, and then cut them a check. Not Melissa or her team. They were always super polite and professional, always on the ball, and were happy to work with us despite our relative lack of urgency. We would come into Chicago for a weekend, they'd have like 6 or 7 properties lined up back to back for us to see, drove us around, etc. Everything was always smooth, which is no guarantee with a random realtor. At the end, we decided on a place in Lakeshore East, and we got a very good deal well under the asking price. We don't leave a lot of reviews. We have to be either super satisfied or want to warn people away. Either way, we view it as sort of a public service announcement, since why else waste our time with the review? In the case of Melissa and her team, we whole heartedly recommend them to you as realtors, and we hope you use them for your purchase/sale of a home. You won't be disappointed.
