I feel blessed to find this group of people. No judgement on this boat. All are welcome. Everybody wants to share their knowledge of dragonboating. You are not an outcast!!! One boat for all. Repeat "ONE BOAT FOR ALL"! Coach John wants to share his knowledge to "Chicago" the love of dragonboat racing. No experience needed!!! Any competitive bone in your body don't wait any longer. Not sure??? Show up you'll love it!!! Paddles up.

I'm so excited to have found this club. All the coaches are very kind, friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They make a point to not be "intimidating," which can happen when you have "seasoned veterans" showing new people the sport. Even though I've been on a dragon boat team before, I've learned so much about technique and terminology from this club that I hadn't learned before. And nothing beats getting to paddle on the Chicago River. Highly recommend!
