Tom is a wonderful real estate broker, and a great human being! Tom has assisted me with my real estate needs multiple times over the past 15 years. After my husband died, Tom spent countless hours counseling, advising, and helping me with preparing my home to get it ready to sell. The work to get the house ready was tremendous and Tom had extensive knowledge and resources to get the house in the proper condition to list on the market. He referred me to painters, electricians, plumbers, and contractors that were some of the best in the business. After we sold the house Tom helped me find an apartment to rent, again calling on his many resources, he arranged packers/movers, and even helped me set up my new home after the move. Tom is a rare find, hes a knowledgeable, savvy broker that actually cares about his clients, and treats them like human beings. I cannot recommend Tom highly enough! I really hate writing reviews like this but I feel that Im obligated to at least warn potential renters/buyers. Under no circumstances should you use this realtor. Unless you're about to make him a giant commission check, prepare to be ignored and treated to some of the worst customer service I have ever seen. Through our realtor, My significant other and I applied to rent a property managed by Tom. In the application, it was mandatory to include a cashiers check or money order for the first month's rent(which was not an application fee),which should have set off red flags right then since it was just an application, but since we really loved the place we decided to drop off the application, money included. After an initial kind and swift response from Tom sending us the application the second he had our money it was radio silence. In a process that was said to take 2-4 business days Tom didn't reply to my realtor or myself for TWO WEEKS. I understand that sometimes delays happen but there was absolutely no communication from Tom whatsoever. A simple Sorry for the delay were working on this or There's been a delay but were still good to go at any point between our many attempts to reach him would have sufficed for me. I thought I was being scammed out of my money. It wasn't until I was forced to start texting and calling his work phone daily that any progress was made. Even then he continued to give me the run around for another week before I was finally able to get my money back. Save yourself the headache and find someone who treats all their clients with the same professionalism
