Hi, Dominique thank you for bringing this to my attention. I'm sure you know, dogs are allowed in the cafe If they are emotional support/ service animals. Unfortunately, there is really little you can do to verify if these are truly support animals, without risking the possibility of being sued for simply asking the wrong question. However, ALL dogs must be on a leash and they are not allowed to run free, nor should they be at table height or on the patrons lap. There is no exception to this rule, especially emotional support or service animals. Once again, I appreciate you bringing this to my attention and I will definitely speak with my staff and provide more training on how to approach guest when a possible service animal is in the cafe. Also, all business owners no matter what color rely on positive reviews. I hope the service we provided was truly better than 2 stars, and this rating was due to your frustration with the animal being in your presence. Although you have already given us a 2-star review, hopefully others who read your review will understand that support animals are allowed everywhere even on planes, and this has nothing to do with our food or team and this animal wasnt anywhere near food preparation. I'm sure this was a one-off situation you experienced from someone who probably suffers from some sort of emotional need that may not be obvious.
