        Comfort food prepared expertly. A tough balance to strike, but El Xangarrito threads the needle perfectly. This team knows their craft. Not to mention, the service was incredibly genuine. Goes pound for pound with any Mexican cuisine Ive had in and around Chicago.

        I just loved everything about this restaurant. The food was amazing, our waiter was extremely helpful and friendly, and loved the overall ambiance. Everything our waiter suggested was fantastic and there is no doubt in my mind this is now one of my favorite restaurants in Chicago. And its BYOB! Cant beat it and were definitely going to be back.

        A real gem. Fabulous food, deliciously and thoughtfully crafted. The chef really knows how to showcase Mexican ingredients and recipes. The service at this family-run business is amazing. Its a small and intimate place that leaves a big impression. We will be back!
