Waited for more than 20 minutes during lunch time (not at all busy). No one even came to take our order and we left. So many other options out there.

Excellent food,service and atmosphere. Went on Easter for brunch I had the egg white omelet and my husband had the steak and eggs.Both were cooked perfectly,fresh and delicious.Service was excellent the waiter was attentive filling our water glasses bringing coffee when needed,just an altogether wonderful brunch.On our list for brunch next time we are in Chicago.

Somehow this place has master having a lot of energy, great music, excellent ambiance - but I could still clearly hear the person I was sitting with. It was a very unusual success. Food was great. Service was excellent. My only regret is not taking something to go from the bakery. The cookies looked phenomenal!

Whenever we're in the mood for food that we know will be good, we hit up Beatrix. There's always something for everyone no matter how picky of an eater you have, but all of the dishes are also elevated. The many times I've been here, at all the different locations, I haven't been disappointed and always enjoy every dish I try, especially the desserts. Get your hands on some of the seasonal desserts if you can. And the specialty coffees are quite nice as well with the lattes not being too sweet compared to others. --- Mini update since my last visit. Food selection was good overall. Had the quiche and although it was delicious, the portion was small for the price. The side salad ended up being the star. Give the coconut cream and banana cold brew a shot if it's there during your next visit. And really nice chocolatey tones. Vegetarian options: There's a decent selection of vegetarian options for folks, from sweet to savory. The menu doesn't clearly state what's vegetarian friendly, but the staff should be able to point you in the right direction if you have dietary restrictions.
