Im an out-of-towner staying in the West Loop area. I came across this place while I was at a shop near by and I could smell the cooking from outside so I came back the next day with my group. They were so kind, playing gospel music on a Sunday morning, and the menu was accommodating for a non-pork eater. The food was great, customer service was amazing, and the atmosphere was top tier! Loved it. If I ever make it back to Chicago, this is my first stop!

Ive been a loyal patron for 35+ years. I called a total of 17 times today to place my order for pickup, which i have always done.6 times the phone was picked up but nobody replied, all I heard was people placing orders! I think its totally ignorant for employees to just pick up and not reply, 1 call today i listened for morethan 5 minutes and still nothing. If Jimmy (owner)sees this, i hope you havent turned your back to the people who kept your place open all these years by being loyal patrons! Also, the last time i was there i ordered the chili which i always do, and it was NOT the homemade chili you used to haveYUUUUKSALTY AS HELL! Anyway, I actually drove all theway there only to see there was zero parking anywhere around therenot even on the side street by the post office. Anyway, if i cant call ahead with my order, then I'll take my business elsewhere. Too bad because I always recommended this place all the years ive been going!
