Ina Mae

Went there on a Sunday afternoon, service was great and the live music gave a good vibe. The pancakes stole the show on the pancakes and chicken. The custard and the crispy edges on the pancakes is what I liked. Im not a huge fan of the chicken being fried in cornmeal. It didnt have the strongest flavor so hot sauce was needed for the chicken. The crab dip was good. A little soupy than Im used to, but Im also used to having crab dip from the Maryland/Baltimore area

Our little waiter Jake took great care of out needs and gave us great friendly service , it was great to have blues music and Louisiana cuisine making us feel at home , great fun atmosphere!

I work in the service industry so I'm pretty patient and reasonable when it comes wait staff but my most recent visit to Ina Mae's was disappointing. Our server disappeared soon after delivering our food and then transferred us to another server without communicating this to us. We had to find this out after not being checked on for 30+ minutes. The server that took over seemed bothered that I was trying to figure out if they were our new server and didn't check up on us for another 20+ minutes after I put in a simple drink order. At a certain point I didn't even feel like bothering them and just paid the check and left.
