Doctor didn't really listen. Misdiagnosed me, was fairly dismissive, and his nursing staff is rude and couldn't be bothered. Called my doctor who referred me and requested another physician. I would avoid St. Joseph hospital if at all possible.

Dr. Vogel is an excellent neurologist, and the only doctor I trust for treatment of my chronic migraine. Wonderful bedside manner, and he truly cares about his patients' well-being.

Doctor is great but the hospital itself is the most ridiculously inconvenient establishment on the planet. They refuse to schedule appointments without first receiving the prescription, even though the prescription is in transit (Botox for chronic migraine). Despite the fact that they claim to be able to "squeeze in appointments", they won't allow you to plan your schedule by booking the appointment. Because of the way insurance works, the specialty pharmacy will not ship ahead of schedule. As anyone with chronic migraines being treated with Botox knows, effects wear off two weeks before the next treatment as authorized by insurance, and waiting an extra few days/ week on top of that is downright excruciating. Clearly they are concerned about things other than patient wellbeing, especially when they can't even allow scheduling of a 15 minute appointment that they swear they can "squeeze in" anyway.
