        Food was subpar at best. Dont go there for brunch. Also their menu said all day food and didnt specify a time, but then when we tried to order, they said it wasnt till after 11. While this lunch time makes sense, the menu was misleading and it was upsetting having to order from their somewhat limited and meh breakfast menu. They also dont seem to do substitutions for meals, so what you see is what you get. We asked for butter and syrup because those typically come with toast and French toast. We got weird looks and Im just a bit shocked it wouldnt already come with. Also, the server brought a handheld credit card reader and hovered over while my friend was trying to pay, watching both her enter her pin, and feel pressured to pick a tip. Overall, a disappointing experience and we wont be coming back.

        Beautiful restaurant in the perfect location for work lunches/happy hours/etc. I ordered the Spicy Chicken Sandwich with a side Caesar salad. The sandwich was very good, the perfect amount of spice and the salad was what youd expect from a Caesar. My only qualm with the sandwich was the texture. The whole sandwich was a bit soggy which made the chicken less crispy. Overall, I enjoyed my lunch and would definitely visit again!

        My partner and I have visited before and were pleasantly surprised to find a nice place in the loop for a bite to eat and a drink. Yesterday, we came back with an hour to spare before Aida at The Lyric. The host sat us down provided a menu and glasses of water. The restaurant was half-full with professional types and hotel guests. No server came to take our order. Actually, there was no server in sight or managers. We waited for 20 minutes before the bartender acknowledged and informed us they would be with us shortly. Ten minutes after that we decided to leave, hungry and frustrated. The hostess didnt even acknowledge us, she didnt seem to care. Dont come here if youre short on time or hungry. Such a shame.

Since your visit, we have made sure to go through all menu books and replace any menus that do not state the time that "All Day" is available. We apologize for any confusion with that and hope that this change makes it more clear for all of our guests. We apologize that our specials offered upon your visit did not come with syrup. We will make sure to add syrup as standard practice if we choose to run a French Toast special again. Lastly, we apologize for any inconvenience our payment system has caused you. We understand it is a bit awkward but unfortunately it is the only system we have in place to take credit card payments. We do hope that you will consider giving Atwood another try in the near future.
