I arrived, and was rudely greeted by a man who took my order at the front. I overlooked this, because the rest of the staff was so incredibly kind. Very kind and helpful.
I ordered a carne asada quesadilla. The meat itself was kinda flavorless. It tasted like a decent sirloin put into a quesadilla. The poblano and onion were a great bonus add for flavor. I wouldnt necessarily call this a quesadillait sadly barley had cheese. Id say my favorite part of the quesadilla was the flour tortilla. Semi greasy and flakey and delicious.
The watermelon agua fresca was refreshing. I ordered a side of guacamole and totopos. The guacamole was flavorless. Im not sure if they made it fresh that day, but it was browning, which indicates they didnt use lemon juice. Ive had the brand of totopos they sell before, and theyre delicious. However, the bag I received was stale.
Overall, Id say their food is more Baja California inspired tex mex.
