Murray Pearlman returned a phone call as I was seeking legal services for a civil matter. He was extremely rude and unprofessional on this call, I was completely prepared to be told a harsh truth about the case, like the cost of services or how tough a case it might be to beat. However I was not prepared to be insulted and verbally accosted. I thought my case was brought in error as the plaintiff was an entity I've never heard of before so I used CARPALS, a no cost legal service provided by the courts to initially file a motion thinking this was all a mistake. I explained this to Mr. Murray and somehow this really set him off, he began asking if I was an indigent, if I had a job, if I was paid salary and how did I get free legal services, and that he too likes free things, he said "maybe I'll go to Walmart and they'll give me free stuff." He ended the call by saying he'd need to do as much work on this $3000 as he'd have to do on a $300,000 case. I was completely flabbergasted and just cannot believe someone would speak to another human this way. His tone and other things he said were also rude, unnecessary, and certainly unprofessional. Avoid this if respect is of any importance to you. If you're dealing with a legal case you're likely stressed and given this pandemic it's even more stressful, the last thing needed is a rude, vile person that is only looking to speak down to you. AVOID!!!
