Ms. Dobilas, your comments are misplaced. SpencePC is an innovative law firm that assists clients to protect their intellectual property and commercial rights. When allegedly infringing parties cannot be located—or when they simply refuse to halt infringing activities—our clients often retain SpencePC to initiate lawsuits and obtain justice. Our clients identify the parties against whom they wish to initiate litigation. We carefully apply our legal expertise to the known facts and confirm that a valid legal basis exists for such litigation. We next present the factual and legal arguments to the court. The court (sometimes in consultation with a jury on issues of fact) then decides whether liability exists and, if so, whether a monetary award or other remedy is appropriate. It is my personal opinion that Americans are fortunate to have the most accessible system of justice in the world. It is a system in which any allegedly aggrieved party can seek justice—regardless of station in life. If you do not agree with the Court’s decision in your lawsuit—if you do not believe justice was obtained—then you should know that you may have a right to appeal and/or hire new legal counsel. Posting derogatory comments concerning a SpencePC attorney merely because she prevailed on behalf of her former client is not appropriate.
