What's not to love. Staff are super friendly and believe me, nothing is too much trouble. We had a pretty specific and hassley request and they came through for us. We will stay here next time we are in town. Rooms are clean and well laid out but with a unique style which sets them apart from your usual blah beige hotel decor. Also: happy hour! Free wine! Do I hear a "YAY"
Rooms: Clean and comfy. Servicing is very thorough
Walkability: So close to downtown even a zucchini could walk to all the nearby shops and restaurants

Starting with Hector: we extended our stay one more day because of the great service and welcoming we had with him. Right after we entered the hotel he took our luggages and car key to take care of the parking. He was friendly and treat us as if we were his own guests. Walked us to the room, unloaded our bags even hanged up my jackets! This was a five-star service not only because of his service but also because of his genuine friendly attitude. We arrived at the happy hour, Hecor also offered us drinks in the lounge upon our arrival. I am just trying to explain how pleased I was to have such an experience. The staff at the reception desk all were helpful and prompt to provide us with everything we needed. Ashly took care of our check out process and she was fast, accurate and professional. Overall, I strongly recommend staying at Kimpton Hotel Monaco if want excellent service and discover the downtown as the location of the hotel is exceptionally perfect.
