My only issue was that I couldn't stay longer.. . This is a super nice hotel. The ambiance was superb. The hotel was ridiculously clean.The staff was very accommodating and personable. My view of the Chicago river was really cool..Room service took good care of me as well... And we're literally in the heart if downtown Chicago, walking distance from tons of major attractions. I live in Chicago and am already making plans for a longer staycaction at this beautiful hotel. Walkability: Within a stone's throw from sooo many restaurants and attractions. Noteworthy details: Loved my river view suite.

I stay at Hotel Monaco a few times a year when I have extended meetings. I like the hotel and I only have one criticism - the lighting in the bathroom is terrible. Its just too dimly lit to style your hair or apply your makeup. I wish they would improve the lighting.

Besides the location which I found out that there were too many others at similar locations this hotel should be named a motel. The front desk and especially the night shift supervisor is a joke. Breakfast is so good that my dog wouldnt even touch that food. I have stayed hundreds of hotels and so far this is the worst one ever.

Only problem was they did not let us know there was a renovation happening. Also the Trump building was glaring into our room which was HORRIBLE to see but thats not the hotels fault. VERY friendly front desk staff.
