Beautiful Mansion in the heart of Chicago right by McCormick Place. The bed and bedding were super comfortable. My only complaint was Netflix wouldn't work. Breakfast was fantastic. I would definitely stay there again. Walkability: Walkable to McCormick Place. Food & drinks: Food & drinks were very good in the area, especially Gibson's.

Beware before making a reservation - you might not actually get your money back if you cancel. While I cancelled my reservation last year well before the 30-day limit and received confirmation of my cancellation, my deposit was not actually refunded. Numerous phone calls and e-mails have failed to resolve this. I was looking forward to potentially booking this place in the future, but now will avoid at all costs

The bed was most comfortable. The location was perfect. Off street parking. The gardens were beautiful and inviting. We had the entire common room to ourselves in the evening, we played checkers and had cocktails inside because it was raining outside. Breakfast the next morning was perfectly delicious. The whole stay was relaxing and refreshing. Rooms: Very comfortable bed and bathroom. Not very good water pressure, but, nice shower. Nearby activities: The convention center is only two blocks away, and lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Safety: We felt very safe staying here. Walkability: Everything is within walking distance. Food & drinks: Any kind of food and drink you want is within walking distance. Noteworthy details: The prettiest yard in Chicago. Very inviting and comfortable.
