The Peninsula Chicago

The Peninsula Chicago offers some of the best service you can receive at at a hotel. Everything is well-appointed, seamless and thought of. You will not lift a finger from the second you arrive at the door. The staff is next-level friendly and ready to assist with any request. Does it come at a cost, sure - but it's worth experiencing if you can. The beds, pillows and linens are what other hotels should strive for. The housekeeping staff has to be one of the best around. We were so busy dining out at restaurants around Chicago during our 4 day visit that we didn't use the on-site restaurants, except for the lovely and convenient Pierrot Gourmet located right next door for coffee and breakfast - the staff there was also wonderful. 10/10

A mother/daughter weekend trip. Room was spacious and very elegant. Welcoming service was a pleasant surprise. Staff such as Pam, Helen , and bartender Loren were very professional polite and caring. We loved turn down service. Had a spa experience, which was something we would do again. Overall, it was a wonderful trip!

Peninsula is THE place to stay for an exceptional family experience in downtown Chicago. We recently took our kids for a staycation at the Peninsula chicago and everything about our stay was top notch. No hotel in the area matches it in terms of service, location, and attention to detail. Our kids were welcomed with fun treats, and loved heading to the pool in their mini robes and slippers. The pool has floor to ceiling windows with beautiful views and is very well maintained. We have stayed with our kids at several lux properties in the area over the years but none compare to Peninsula.
