Club Quarters Hotel Wacker at Michigan, Chicago

I'll start from the beginning, we ordered our tickets online at hotels.com was great and super easy. Checked in then we got on the elevator that seemed to be malfunctioning. Eventually we made it to our floor and headed to our room. I noticed a sticker on the door and door jam saying that the room is certified clean and sanitized. I was kind of surprised, seemed very comforting. We went to put some of the complimentary water in the fridge and there was a stack of old stinky pizza right on the rack. Went to use the restroom and the toilet seat was visibly dirty and the bathroom garbage needed to be taken out. Also called the front desk for an extra blanket and pillow for my kids on the sofa bed 70 minutes later I received a knock at the door after 2 more calls asking when housekeeping would be by. As we are settling in and turn the TV on it is super laggy and the Wi-Fi is also horrible. When I called the front desk to inform them about the food in the fridge they sent someone up right away took it out and wiped it out. The housekeeping didn't clean the toilet seat or take the trash. However, a few minutes later we received a call from the front desk offering us a free stay on a weekend able to be used within a year. Other than that the bed was comfortable and pillows were nice.

Very covid safe. Very clean and small room. Card needed to use elevator. So safe. No fridge/microwave. Nice tv and services available through tv. Restaurants etc.. Walking distance to alot and right across from the river. Now parking is awful, if you park a block away where they have a contract. Its 25$ instead of 60$.
