I have been going through the journey with my partner who has seen Dr. Parrish. I have never seen such terrible care in my life. Dr. Parrish is rude, dismissive and condescending. If you want someone who takes you and your other care providers test results seriously, then do not see this individual.

I had my first colonoscopy with Dr. Parrish five years ago, my wife six years ago. I called today on Friday at 9 a.m. and I asked if dr. Parrish can check my abdomen for possible blockage and to my surprise scheduler ask me if I can be there by 11 a.m. I really hated other options, one of them being emergency room in this time of Covid. Dr. Parrish is very knowledgeable and no bs. He will tell you his reasoning and simplify it for you. If you come with a long story good luck, but he will order all the tests to minimize chance of something being undetected. And by the way my wife just told me that he probably saved her life. Maybe there are better ones out there, but I don't know them...

Dr. Charles Parrish performed an upper endoscopy on me recently and far exceeded my expectations. His bedside manner was highly professional, he was quite jovial, answered all of my questions, and the procedure went very smoothly. I highly recommend this physician and Atlanta Center for Gastroenterology!

Had EGD this past month. Terrific staff. Very caring physician. The total time I was in and out of there was entirely reasonable. My procedure was surprisingly pain-free. I got my results back quickly and I highly recommend this physician. This past EGD was in 2019. I have been going to Dr. Parrish for nearly a decade.

I recently had a colonoscopy performed by Dr Cliff Parrish at Atlanta Center for Gastroenterology in Decatur, GA. My GP had pretty much convinced me that I had colon cancer, and being a breast cancer survivor, I was quite anxious and afraid just going in to Dr. Parrishs office. The nurse took my blood pressure, and immediately determined that I had white coat syndrome. That was very perceptive and that kind, humorous touch helped going in. Dr Parrish picked up on my fears right away and calmly explained all of the reasons that I most likely did not have colon cancer, including the fact that the only criteria the GP used was a test that has a high incidence of false positives. He did not just dismiss my anxiety, but sought to relieve it. Since I am extremely sensitive to anesthesia, Dr. Parrish agreed to use sedation without putting me to sleep with the smallest dose possible, but assured me that if I needed more during the procedure, I could have more (which I didnt need). Dr. Parrish was the only doctor I could find who would even discuss not putting me to sleep for a colonoscopy. He also documented that I tolerated the procedure well even though I had a minimal amount of medication. I appreciated this for any future colonoscopies. He was very careful afterwards to reassure me that he saw no indication of cancer (even though no one can be 100% sure until after the pathology report is received). Dr. Parrish was able to not only pick up on my fears, but took the time to reassure me, and relieve the anxiety. When he called to give me the results he stated specifically that there was no cancer so that I would have no doubt. There are very few people and even fewer doctors that would be so understanding and kind. The entire staff was helpful and kind as well. I have had lots of experience with doctors, and Dr. Parrish is pretty high in my esteem.
