I was visiting Augusta GA today for an interview and to look at an apartment and I thought Id try some good old southern BBQ before heading back to Virginia and I saw Carlas Kitchen on my way to my interview and thought some Soul Food was a great place to get BBQ rather than a chain. Little did I know Carla can Cook her tale off and blew my mind, her Mac n cheese is incomparable and made me moan a little after the first few bites haha, the BBQ chicken was cooked and tasted like perfection, the cornbread fell apart in my mouth and was absolutely delicious, I also recommend trying the potato salad as well. If you are visiting or a local to the Augusta Area I highly recommend you add this to your list of restaurants to try! Plenty of parking and lots of seating options as well as the staff is incredibly friendly and has the good olde southern charm that youd expect from a family owned restaurant! 5 stars from me!!

Me and my sister walked in, we were greeted nicely! Food was surprisingly really good!!
