Broad Street Bullie's Grill

I have been hearing about this place for the longest and finally decided to try it out last week. I was encouraged to give it a try due to it being a black owned business and their reviews on their Facebook page. The reason I gave it a 3-star rating was solely due to the customer service. The gentleman up from was extremely helpful, nice and welcoming. However, for future references, if you are going to play the music that loud, you may want to speak a little louder and consider posting a list of the items that you are out of. I came solely for a baked potato and the Mac and cheese and they were out of both. Let's get into the food. I had the trio platter with asparagus and fries. The fries had an unexpected flavor that was very welcoming. It wasn't anything special about the asparagus. The shrimp was perfectly cooked. That was the star of the show. The chicken had plenty of flavor but was still somewhat dry. While the steak, on the other hand, was completely dry. To be honest, the steak and chicken reminded me of the fajita mix that you get out the of the stores. So, please do not go there thinking that you are getting restaurant style steak. My sister ordered the salmon with the rice and fries. While the rice had a pretty good taste and texture, it tasted like something that came straight from a box. The salmon was extremely moist and full of flavor. While it wasn't a terrible experience, I'm not sure that I am willing to go back.

I was excited to try a new spot since the pics of the food looks amazing. I paid almost $30 for just the platter and they ran out of mac n cheese so I got the broccoli with asparagus. To be honest, I was so disappointed with the taste and how dry the meat were. The steak was bland with no flavor tho the chicken was seasoned pretty aight but it was really dry.

Tried it, would not go back. Food was not good, service was worse. Nothing is as they advertised.

waited for our food to come out for a hour, once we asked about it the lady had a attitude. it came with the shrimp being cold asf, & the fries being hard & cold asf also. When handed the food it was spilled upside down inside the bag leaving all napkins covered in oil, couldn't even open the box because of how oily it was & there was also nasty ass oily napkins in my food. old shrimp and overall making the whole order very messy.

Ambience. BService. BFood. ?Price. BFound on Broad near the Common park. It's been updated and painted with heavy wood accents on booths and tables. Food menu looks eclectic myriad of grilled flat top food. Steaks, shrimp, chicken. I hear loaded fries are good. I'll try one day when I'm more hungry. Prices can range from $8-$20+One day...
