Dr Ouderkirk does very good work. He's very involved in the Black and LGBT communities and is very conversant in the particular medical issues common to those groups. He's a very good general practitioner, as well, which is not always the case with doctors who specialize. The one downside to seeing him is that he's VERY busy. He's thorough in each office visit, but contacting him or his staff for medication refills, questions, and so on can take some doing. Their scheduling is spot-on, though, and I get the feeling he's flexible about billing with underprivileged patients.
