In 2019 we purchased a home that was flipped by ACL Realty/Contracting, owned by one Mr. Carlos Lira. As soon as we moved in, we realized the roof was leaking. He came and repaired the roof for free. Then, mold started growing in the house - in the corners of the walls, on picture frames, under the beds. The toilets kept getting clogged because no plumbing vents were installed and because the toilet connections were done improperly. Not a single permit was pulled - even though Carlos said he'd completely re-did everything. We just discovered that the subfloor throughout the house is rotted through. It's a wonder our showers didn't collapse or the toilets fall through the floor! On top of all that, we're convinced that Carlos Lira has multiple inspectors in his back pocket as major issues were not detected by our inspector. Things like improperly installed windows, upside down and mismatched siding seems (allowing water in), siding beneath the dirt (hello termites), no plumbing vents, etc. The house is a wreck and completely unlivable. Carlos brags that he flips over 360 homes per year in Florida. If you see ACL Realty as an owner or previous owner of any real estate - RUN in the other direction. You'd be better off tearing it down that purchasing anything this shady company has had it's hands on. I feel so sorry for anyone who's purchased a home from them.
