image A great experience, combining a museum, small animal exhibits, and interactive exhibits

image Great experience for all ages. Grandkids loved the IMAX movie, dinosaur statues and the nature walk. The nature walk was very hot Saturday afternoon so think that would be better a different time of year. We all are looking forward to the Viking exhibit that is coming in October.

image We visited with a City Pass. Our whole family enjoyed this museum. I would recommend for all ages.

image It was a great experience. Unfortunately the forecast didn't allow us to walk the outside trail.

image I remembered this museum from childhood and I was very excited to see it again, and show my kids the actual scale of some of their favorite dinosaurs and learn some stuff about the natural history of the world. Unfortunately it seems I misremembered most of it. The fossil collection here is miniscule. The atrium houses a very nice Giganotosaurus and a large sauropod which I believe was apatasaurus? With some pterosaurs scattered around. Either way that's almost everything in regard to dinosaurs. Except the mosaic room where there is a stegosaurus skeleton and several large plaster dinosaurs that are wildly scientifically inaccurate seeing as they are the same ones I saw in 1994. We've learned a lot since then and it would be great if somewhere along 30 years of new information, it could have been reflected. Even in a little plaque or something. Especially that poor plaster tyrannosaurus, standing straight up on its hind legs like it's trying to reach the top shelf, right out of the original King Kong. Given how expensive, underwhelming, and short This museum visit was, I now see it's better left a nostalgic memory. The outside trail portion is also just a huge boardwalk in the woods with some climbing sections for kids. We did have some fun in the little water fixture though.
