My boyfriend and I were looking to buy a new home. It was my first experience buying a home, and my boyfriend last bought one 20 yrs ago and was overwhelmed with how much everything had changed over the years. I had went to high school with Errol, and when he saw me posting on social media about our confusion regarding the process, he reached out and offered to help. He was awesome! He was extremely knowledge about the market, and took time to explain all the ins and outs of the buying/selling process. He was very patient, putting our schedule and needs first. With five growing children, my wife and I recently decided our 4BR/2BA wasnt big enough anymore. We needed to upsize. Plus, we wanted to be in Dunwoody because of its great school system and proximity to my work. The first and only real estate agent we considered to represent us was Errol Danley! We achieved full asking price on the sale of our old home on the first day on the market. And, even in a very low inventory market, were able to negotiate a great price on our new home! We were very satisfied with his integrity, knowledge of the Atlanta real estate market, availability, and his willingness to negotiate. He also has great connections with lenders and contractors. Errol Danley is an excellent real estate agent and I am so glad we found him! This is my ninth personal real estate transaction and I have used five other real estate agents in the past. I was always left underwhelmed with my other real estate agent experiences, and I guess I had figured that was the best I was going to get. These agents all came recommended by friends or family, but my experiences ranged from inexperience to lack of knowledge to lack of interest/effort to too busy to care. I always felt like my agents were overpaid for the service I was getting. Then I worked with Errol. He is the image of that great real estate agent I always wanted but had never found before. He is extremely knowledgeable and has great insight into all aspects of real estate. He was very patient with us in this difficult market and was always punctual and flexible with our schedule. Even though he was successfully handling other client transactions, it felt like we were his only client. He was always available to answer our questions and sometimes just was there to be a good friend when it didn't seem like things were going our way. On this last home sale of ours, we had met with another agent who was the leading agent in our area and while she was very professional, she told us we could sell our house for $20K lower than what Errol actually sold it for. She wasn't interested in getting us the highest price, she just wanted a quick sale. Errol was willing to be patient and take the time with us to get the highest price possible. He was also pointing out all these details along the way that other agents try to sneak by you in a transaction for their client's benefit. I had never been informed of these in my previous transactions and I felt so much more protected with Errol because of this. For the first time, I felt like my agent earned every penny of his commission. I don't usually leave reviews, but I felt I really needed to help get the word out about Errol in Atlanta. To say Errol was the best realtor we have worked with would be an understatement. Like any first time home buyer, my fianc and I were a tad nervous when we pulled up to closing as we were not quite sure what to expect. We were greeted by Errol as soon as we walked through the door of the attorney's office. His confidence and promptness definitely eased my nerves. It was also Errol's excellent patience, knowledge, and expertise that helped our closing run smoothly. However, the characteristic that really sets Errol apart from most realtors and agents, would have to be his hospitality. During our closing process, the lender failed to send several documents making the process extremely longer than expected. We were still sitting at the closing table when we realized we had movers scheduled at noon. Errol offered to go meet up with the movers and direct them until we were able to leave the attorney's office. He literally saved the day.
